This 2 day course introduced the structured concepts of debriefing. Using the diamond debrief model, to facilitate deep reflection, exploration of human factors skills and transfer of learning from simulation experience to the workplace. Participants will actively debrief simulation experience and abstract exorcises. Using faculty to recreate debriefing situations and structured debriefing-of-the-debrief. Participants can reflect on the technical aspects of the model and how they may facilitate debriefs.
Please note in order to receive certification for the Essential Debriefing Skills course, following the course, internal delegates will be required to return to practice debriefing on a minimum of two other courses.
