All new Nursing & Midwifery clinical staff attend our Clinical Induction programme which lasts for 4 days. This covers the majority of their mandatory training and it consists of both theory and practical sessions. New starters receive a pack on the first day containing; a timetable, a fact sheet, information regarding Medicines Management & IT training, and how to access our E-Learning platforms. Staff are supported throughout this programme to ensure they are well equipped with the appropriate knowledge to succeed in their clinical practice and are conscious of where to find information should they need it.
