Dr Tom Simpson

Research Fellow

Tom is a Respiratory and General Medical Trainee and is currently a simulation fellow at the SaIL Centre. He has been involved in various forms of medical education since he was a student, and began working in simulation in 2011 in his spare time. Now working as one of us full time, he is interested in developing teaching resources to support the transition from junior physician to medical registrar, whilst also exploring the discussion of care and compassion in a debriefing environment.  He has commenced an MA in Clinical Education at KCL and in what remains of his spare time he plays field hockey in goal, enjoys live music, summer night city entertainment and tries to find new excuses to wear his Lederhosen in the Waterloo area.
