ICM

Welcome to Guy’s and St Thomas’ for King’s Health Partners Higher Training in Intensive Care Medicine Programme.

This post graduate specialty programme provides ICM training across both North and South London. Guy’s and St Thomas’ work with partners from across London (UCLP, Imperial and St George’s) to expand the number and quality of training opportunities, utilising economies of scale in delivering teaching, simulation and faculty development. Many of the trainees will be dual accrediting with one of five other acute specialties. We also offer standalone Programmes.

P1090941As dual ICM trainees move between ICM and their other specialty on a regular basis, continuity is a key issue and will be enhanced by ensuring placements are for a minimum of 1 year (excluding ST5).
Training is:

Stage 1 ST3-4
Stage 2 ST5-6
Stage 3 ST7
