Online Mandatory Training

Online Mandatory Training

Before joining the Trust you must complete your online mandatory training.  You can access the modules via www.e-lfh.org.uk

We recommend that this is done in plenty of time as there are 12 modules:

  • Safeguarding Adults: Level 1
  • Safeguarding Children: Level 2
  • Conflict Resolution – Level 1
  • Equality, Diversity and Human Rights – Level 1
  • Fire Safety – Level 1
  • Health, Safety and Welfare – Level 1
  • Infection Prevention and Control – Level 1
  • Data Security Awareness – Level 1
  • Moving and Handling – Level 1
  • e-IRI_33_01 – Image Interpretation – Nasogastric Tube Placement
  • 03_02 Patient Consent
  • Preventing Radicalisation – Awareness of Prevent (Level 3)

The mandatory training e-learning takes approximately five hours to complete. You will receive a username and password from e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LFH) giving you access to a wide range of e-Learning. If you have an existing eLearning for Health account please let us know via juniordoctorinduction@gstt.nhs.uk so that we can add you to the Trust reports.

When entering the e-Learning you will be asked to ‘sign up’ for different modules. Please register and complete the modules listed above.

There are also videos that you must watch before you start at the Trust.  You must let us know when you have watched these by emailing juniordoctorsinduction@gstt.nhs.uk

We appreciate that completing your online training in advance means that you will be doing this is your own time before you start. To recognise this, GSTT will give you a day off in lieu which can be taken at a time mutually convenient to you and the department. We recommend this is taken within the first 4 months. You will only be able to claim this day off in lieu if you complete both online mandatory training and IT training before your first day. We will notify the department if you have done this so that they can ensure the day off is honoured.
